APAC Field Marketing Manager at Digital Turbine

Valerie Phang has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as an Executive in Sales at Lieutenant Kernel. Valerie then pursued an internship at the Accountant-General's Department, where they researched, wrote, and edited articles for a quarterly newsletter. After that, Valerie completed internships at PSA Marine and AXA, where they gained experience in Human Resources and Marketing and Communications, respectively.

In 2017, Valerie worked as an Audit Intern at Deloitte. From 2018 to 2021, they joined Singtel and took on several roles, including Business Development Manager at Trustwave Cyber Security Institute, Marketing Communications Manager, Acquisition GTM, Product Marketing Manager, and a Management Associate in the Singtel Management Associate Program (MAP).

In 2021, Valerie became the Marketing Manager at Kacific Broadband Satellites Group, and in 2022, they joined Digital Turbine as the APAC Field Marketing Manager.

Valerie Phang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy & Business at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they participated in a Winter Exchange Programme at Ryerson University, focusing on Accounting and Finance. Prior to their university studies, Valerie earned their GCE 'A' Level with 6 Distinctions at Anglo-Chinese Junior College from 2012 to 2013.

In 2022, Valerie began pursuing a Continuous Professional Development at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, where they are expected to complete their degree in Marketing in 2024. Valerie has also obtained additional certifications, including an Associate certification from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in January 2022, The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in April 2020, and a LinkedIn Marketing Strategy certification from LinkedIn in July 2021.
