Tomi Apostolakis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tomi began their career at Danske Bank in 2007 as a Personal Banker, where they gained expertise in consumer and corporate banking services. During their time there, they also took on responsibilities such as internal process development and risk management tasks, as well as organizing internal trainings and mentoring colleagues. In 2011, Tomi joined Mediq Suomi Oy as a Finance Specialist, where they were responsible for cash management, financial reporting, and process development of accounting functions. Tomi stayed with Mediq Suomi Oy for four years before moving on to Digital Workforce Services Plc in 2015. At Digital Workforce Services Plc, Tomi initially served as an Intelligent Process Automation Manager for Public and Healthcare Customers. Their role involved leveraging technology to optimize processes for clients in the public and healthcare sectors. In 2022, they were promoted to Head of Health and Social Care Customers, further expanding their responsibilities within the company.

Tomi Apostolakis completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2012, majoring in management accounting and minoring in finance. Tomi then pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration at LUT University from 2012 to 2015, with a focus on accounting and business strategy, and a minor in industrial engineering management. In 2014, Tomi participated in a student exchange program at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea, where they studied International Business. Regarding certifications, they obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2018, followed by the ITIL Foundation certification in January 2018. Additionally, Tomi gained the Blue Prism Certified Developer certification from Blue Prism in May 2016. Tomi also holds the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designation from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in June 2020. Furthermore, Tomi completed the UiPath Business Analyst and Implementation Methodology certification from UiPath in January 2019. Lastly, they have an Intelligent Automation Business Analyst credential from Digital Workforce, with the exact date of completion unavailable.
