Mike Bilek

Mike Bilek is an experienced professional with a diverse background, currently serving as a Contracting Specialist at DigitalBGA since December 2022. Previously, Mike Bilek operated as an Independent Life Insurance Agent and ran a freelance photography and drone operation business from December 2018 to January 2024. Mike's expertise in drone operation was further developed through roles at DroneUp®️ and EagleView in 2021. A significant portion of Mike Bilek's career was dedicated to emergency services, including a lengthy tenure as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Orange County Fire Authority from 2011 to 2018 and prior experience as a Firefighter with the Orange City Fire Department. Mike also held positions as an Ocean Lifeguard Supervisor with the City of Laguna Beach and a Senior Trauma Technician at UC Irvine Health. A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Mike Bilek served as an Aviation Survival Technician and Helicopter Rescue Swimmer from 2002 to 2006. Mike Bilek's education includes studies at Arizona State University and Brandman University, where a degree in Applied Studies was earned, along with various other academic pursuits.
