Mishka Zala Saleem

Mishka Zala Saleem is a Network Engineer I at DigitalOcean since October 2023 and serves as the Senior Vice President of IEEE Women in Engineering since October 2021. Previously, Mishka has held various roles including Research Intern at Aurat Foundation, where research focused on Violence Against Women and Girls policies, and Apprentice at xFlow Research Inc., gaining experience in technical domains such as Linux and Cloud Computing. In addition, Mishka was a Career Prep Fellow at Amal Academy, leading workshops on women's leadership, and a Machine Learning Intern at the National Center of Artificial Intelligence, involved in deep learning projects. Early contributions include teamwork at CERN's ThePort Humanitarian Hackathon and significant educational accomplishments from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar and earlier institutions.
