Sumant Mehta is a seasoned product and engineering leader with over 18 years of experience in building and scaling enterprise and consumer products. Currently, they drive the Observability and Insights charter at DigitalOcean, enhancing system behavior understanding for over 650,000 users. Previously, Sumant held key roles at Microsoft, where they led initiatives in Azure Storage and big data platforms, and contributed to customer onboarding and feature delivery. They have also gained experience at Amazon and interned at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Sumant completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
