Alex Bogias

Alex Bogias, PhD, is a research engineer at digitalSTROM AG, specializing in hardware and software development for home automation products since May 2019. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Lucy Electric from January 2014 to April 2019, focusing on grid monitoring algorithms and embedded data acquisition systems. Responsibilities included employing a spiral methodology for project development and designing three-phase monitoring products for electrical utility corporations. Alex's earlier experience includes serving as an assistant electronic engineer at the CRUK-MRC Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology, where involvement in the design and testing of printed circuit boards took place. Alex holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University, obtained in 2012, and a Master of Engineering degree from the same institution, completed in 2006.
