Thalyta Ferraz is an internationalist with proven experience in managing research projects focused on international politics, development, and rights-based international agenda. Since 2011, she has been involved in the constitution of the first public initiative think tank affiliated with the university, the BRICS Policy Center (BPC), in Rio de Janeiro, and since 2018, where she manage the office for internationally funded research projects. She holds a master's degree in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, from which she developed skills in scientific research, data processing, and theoretical and critical analysis of political and socio-economic phenomena. The topic of his MA dissertation was symbols of cultural identities as objects of national public policies and international cooperation projects conducted by governments and multilateral organizations. In 2020, Isheconcluded a four-month professional advancement fellowship at the MGG Academy (DIE/Germany), shifting his area from project to knowledge management, seeking shared problem-solving methods, and conflict mediation, and supporting the co-creation, diffusion, and application of knowledge between organizations. As a result of this immersive multicultural experience, together with a nationally diverse female team, she concluded a research project awarded by the DIE on SME engagement in the 2030 Agenda, especially SDGs numbers five (Gender Equality) and twelve (Responsible Consumption and Production). The recent steps of mine are part of his professional aspiration to specialize as a research consultant on global trends in digitalization process and its cultural and socioeconomic impacts. She understands the importance of non-governmental entities acting in the global and Brazilian post-pandemic scenario, in making apprehensions more intelligible and advocating business and policy solutions for a fairer life under the social and environmental hazards ahead. She believes that the purpose of organizations such as DID fulfill this role creating a better understanding and opportunities, particularly for the advancement of women of color in Brazil and Latin America.
