Richard McGinnis, CSEIP

Richard McGinnis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Richard is currently working as an ePACS Engineer at Dignari, LLC since June 2023.

Prior to that, Richard worked at Security Install Solutions, Inc. from November 2021 to April 2022 as the Director of Business Operations, where they were responsible for improving organizational efficiency and implementing standardized business processes. Richard also served as the Northwest Regional Manager from October 2017 to November 2021, handling all business operations on the West Coast of the United States.

Richard also worked at Security Equipment, Inc. as a Physical Security and Access Control Lead Technician from February 2017 to October 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the installation, programming, and service of enterprise physical access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and video management systems.

Before that, Richard worked at Veritiss, LLC as an ESS Technician from January 2016 to February 2017. Their responsibilities included supporting the SOUTHCOM mission at JTF GTMO by collaborating with military officials and overseeing the installation of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.

Richard started their career with Security Install Solutions, Inc. in February 2011 as a Lead Technician. Richard was promoted from a technician role and gained expertise in installing various security systems, such as GE Casi-Rusco, DMP, Brivo, HID pivCLASS, Axis, Avigilon, Exacq Vision, Fluidmesh, Panasonic, Lenel, Pelco, and Honeywell.

Prior to their career in security, Richard worked at Trinity Industries, Inc. as a Night Shift Leadman from August 2008 to February 2011. Richard initially joined as an assembler and was later promoted to the leadman position, where they supervised a team of eight assemblers and reported progress to the shop supervisor.

Overall, Richard McGinnis has a solid background in security systems installation and management, with experience in business operations and leadership roles.

Richard McGinnis obtained their high school degree from Maroa Forsyth High School, where they studied from 2003 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a CompTIA SecurityPlus Certified CE from CompTIA in July 2017. In October 2017, they also became a Certified System Engineer ICAM PACS through the Secure Technology Alliance. Richard has acquired numerous other certifications over the years, including Lenel Certified for Access Control Essentials, Lenel Certified for Access Control Hardware, and Lenel OnGuard Silver Certified in February 2013. Additionally, they obtained various certifications related to different security and networking systems from institutions such as Eagle Eye Networks, IPVM University, ESA CAT Level 1, Intertek Perfect Raceway, Fluidmesh, NTS Certified Alarm Technician, Codebench PIVCheck/HID Global pivClass, Avigilon, LKM 7000 and X09, DMP XR500/XR100 Technical Training, DMP XT30/XT50 Technical Training, Brivo OnAir, and Brivo Onsite Aparato between 2011 and 2015. Furthermore, Richard obtained a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance in May 2011 and U.S. DoD Top-Secret Clearance in September 2021, both from the United States Department of Defense.
