Akila Rathnayaka

Akila Rathnayaka is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as Lead React Native Engineer at Dijital Team since July 2024, Akila has previously held roles as Technical Lead and Associate Tech Lead at Axiata Digital Labs from October 2021 to July 2024. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Software Engineer at Intervest Software Technologies from September 2020 to October 2021, Software Engineer at SAKS from October 2019 to September 2020, and Software Engineer at Firelix Technologies from December 2018 to October 2019. Akila began the career as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Omobio from June 2018 to December 2018 and as a Trainee Native Android Developer at Smart Valley Sri Lanka from July 2017 to July 2018. Akila obtained a BSC (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Plymouth, graduating in 2019, and attended Rahula College from 2002 to 2015.
