James Redfern

James Redfern has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. James currently holds the position of Director of Sales at Diligencia since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Business Development Advisor and Investor for two start-ups in the FinTech and RegTech sector from May 2019 onwards. From 2017 to 2018, Redfern served as an Executive Director in Business Development and Market Development at Refinitiv. Before that, they held the role of Executive Director in Business Development at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) from 2015 to 2017. Redfern also has experience as a CEO and Managing Director at CounterpartyLink Ltd. from 2011 to 2015. James held several positions at CounterpartyLink Ltd. prior to that, including Head of Sales & Marketing and Global Head of Distributor Management. Earlier in their career, Redfern worked at Cicada Software Limited, Reuters Group Plc, and Citi, where they held various managerial roles in strategic alliances, partnerships, and product management.

James Redfern's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Aberdeen. James also attended Winchester College. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society, certification in CAA PPL Single & Multi-Engine Rating from the Civil Aviation Authority, and serving as an RAF Cadet Pilot/ADStAUAS in the Royal Air Force. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained a certification from the Royal Voluntary Service.
