Nasir Boakye-Boateng

Nasir Boakye-Boateng has a wealth of work experience starting from 2004. In 2004, they were a PMS Support Engineer Intern at Vodafone Ghana. In 2005, they were a BSS/TX Field Engineer Intern at Vodafone Ghana. In 2006, they were an Asst. Area Electrical Engineer (Trainee) at Volta Aluminum Company. In 2007, they were a Software Project Manager and Developer at Axon Information Systems. From 2008-2011, they were a SMC Support Engineer and SMC Engineer at Scancom Ltd (MTN Ghana). From 2011-2018, they were an Adjunct Professor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Software Engineer at Motion View Software, LLC. Finally, from 2021 onwards, they have been an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Diligent Robotics and a Senior Software Engineer at Abundant Robotics.

Nasir Boakye-Boateng has a diverse educational background. Nasir obtained their SSCE from Labone Senior High School in 1998-2000, followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah'\u200b University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in 2002-2006. Nasir then went on to pursue a CEMBA in Strategic and Quality Management from the same university in 2009-2012. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2011-2013, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Engineering from the same university in 2013-2020. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)\u00ae certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009.
