Daniel de Carvalho Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel began their career in 2001 as a C++ Developer at Atitel - Ati Telecomunicações Ltda, where they coded software and migrated a proprietary database to Oracle SQL. In 2003, they joined FITec as a System Developer, focusing on firmware development for embedded devices and supervisory software. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a System Test Analyst at IBM, writing test plans and bug reports for the CDMA Provisioning System at Sprint Nextel Account.

In 2006, Daniel became a System Engineer/Partner at ARVOS, LLC, contributing to research on open-source technologies and managing development efforts. Daniel also built the IT infrastructure for the office. Daniel then returned to IBM in 2006 as a Production Support Analyst Technical Team Lead, providing technical leadership and support for backend applications in the Mobile Telecom industry.

In 2015, Daniel took on the role of Senior Business Application Analyst at IBM, where they architected IT solutions for the Mobile Telecom industry, conducted business and systems analysis, and guided development teams. Daniel also led the architecture and design of various projects for Sprint Corporation, such as the Numbering Management backend system migration.

After leaving IBM, Daniel joined SkipTheDishes in 2019 as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration in the cloud (AWS) and infrastructure maintenance. In 2020, they moved to Neo Financial as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, and Solutions Architecture. Finally, they joined Tally in 2022 as a Senior SRE and is currently working as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Diligent since 2023.

Daniel de Carvalho Gomes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from PUC Minas in 2003. Daniel then pursued a Post-Graduation in Capital Markets and Derivatives at PUC Minas from 2008 to 2009. In 2012, they attended Fundação Dom Cabral for a Post-Graduation in Project Management, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2018 and Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2013.
