P.eng. Alex A. Geronimo Jr

Alex A. Geronimo Jr, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Alex A. is currently working at Dillon Consulting Limited as a Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at MCA Consultants Inc as a Mechanical Engineer from September 2017 to June 2021.

Alex also worked at Jewer Bailey Consultants from October 2015 to February 2017, where they held the position of Mechanical Engineer / BIM Mechanical Lead. Alex A. was responsible for MEPF System Design and analysis using BIM Revit and Autocad, as well as participating in the design of plans, preliminary estimations, and detailed designs for various types of buildings.

Before that, they worked at GJ Cahill as an HVAC CAD Technician from December 2014 to October 2015. Alex A. was involved in projects related to oil and gas, mining, hydro, and social infrastructure.

Alex's previous experience includes working at AMEC Americas Limited as a Mechanical Technologist from February 2014 to September 2014, and at STANTEC CONSULTING SERVICES as a Mechanical Technologist from July 2012 to February 2014.

Prior to their career in Canada, Alex worked at Verger Et DelPorte as a Mechanical Design Engineer from March 2008 to July 2011. Alex A. was responsible for computing equipment sizes, designing layouts, and preparing shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and water supply systems.

Alex's earliest work experience was at Ventech International Services Phils. as a Static Equipment Engineer II from May 2007 to October 2007. Alex A. also worked at NDE Digitech as a CAD Engineer from July 2005 to May 2007, and at Technol Eight Philippines as a Cadet Trainee from February 2005 to May 2005.

Alex A. Geronimo Jr, P.Eng. earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2004. Alex A. then obtained the certification of Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) from the Professional Regulatory Commission in Manila, Philippines in October 2004. In March 2017, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador in Newfoundland, Canada. Later in October 2017, they also obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from Engineers Nova Scotia.
