David Dorris

David Dorris has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. David currently serves as the Director of Strategic Development at Dillon Gage Metals, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI) starting in 2018.

From 2015 to 2022, David worked at Asahi Refining, where they held various roles including Global Business Development Manager and Business Development Executive. Their responsibilities at Asahi Refining included developing and managing profitable relationships with a global client base, overseeing global sales and marketing of gold and silver bullion products, and conducting market research on precious metals refining and products.

Before joining Asahi Refining, David worked at Johnson Matthey as a Business Development Executive and Business Development Administrator from 2011 to 2015.

David's early work experience includes being a Full Time MBA Student at Westminster College from 2009 to 2010, a Specialty Leasing/Business Development Manager at Macerich from 2006 to 2009, and a Senior Customer Consultant/Commercial Business Representative at FedEx Office from 2004 to 2006. Overall, David Dorris has a strong foundation in business development and strategic planning, with expertise in the precious metals industry.

David Dorris completed their Master of Business Administration degree from Westminster University in 2010. David also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Utah State University in 2003. In addition to their formal education, David has earned several certifications, including a Graduate Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Westminster College in 2010 and a Level 1 snowboard instructor certification from the PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors in 2002. Recently, in 2021, they obtained certifications in various topics related to team management and productivity from LinkedIn.
