Atharva Waghmare has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Atharva started as a Volunteer at the Mechanical Engineering Students' Association (MESA) in 2017, where they later became the MESA Head and oversaw the organization's growth. Atharva also served as the Executive Head of Techfest Activities and Head of Magazine Photography for MESA.

In 2018, Atharva founded The Oceanbin Project, an initiative focused on cleaning the world's oceans and addressing environmental issues.

In 2021, Atharva worked as a Quality-Based Management Trainee at CEAT Limited, where they completed projects under the Vice President.

From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Persistent Systems, first as a Talent Analytics Trainee, where they created a highly utilized report called Talent Management Bulls Eye (TM BE) and received recognition from the company's leadership. Atharva then advanced to the roles of Senior Officer - Talent Analytics and Associate Executive - Talent Analytics. In these positions, Atharva developed ad-hoc reports, led machine learning projects, and created real-time anomaly analysis platforms using Power BI. Atharva also engineered a data model for a single-source-of-truth Power BI dashboard and implemented an end-to-end data analytics system.

In 2023, Atharva joined DIMAAG-AI as a Software Engineer AI/ML.

Atharva Waghmare completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Symbiosis Institute of Technology, starting in 2017 and graduating in 2021. Atharva then pursued a Diploma in Data Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Atharva Waghmare obtained several certifications. Atharva completed the following courses: "Firm level economics: markets and allocations" and "Firm Level Economics: Consumer and Producer Behavior" from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in September 2020 and July 2020 respectively. Atharva also completed the course "How to Write and Publish a Scientific Paper (Project-Centered Course)" from École Polytechnique in July 2020.

Furthermore, Atharva Waghmare completed various online courses and specializations. These include the courses "Six Sigma Tools for Analyze," "Six Sigma Tools for Improve and Control," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Introduction to Research for Essay Writing," "Six Sigma Principles," "Six Sigma Tools for Define and Measure," and the specialization "Six Sigma Yellow Belt Specialization." Atharva completed these courses from institutions such as the University System of Georgia, The Johns Hopkins University, University of California, Irvine, Tomsk State University, and National University of Singapore.

Atharva Waghmare also obtained certifications in R Programming, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, Nanotechnology: A maker's course, Fundamentals of Rocket Science (with Falcon 9), Getting started with python, Technical support fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from various institutions including The Johns Hopkins University, Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network, Udemy, University of Michigan, Google, and Microsoft.
