Varun Sairam

Varun Sairam's work experience begins in 2017 as a 3D Modeler Intern at Crion Technologies, where they designed 3D assets for a VR workspace. Varun then worked as an Engineering Intern at PHI, responsible for designing and fabricating a modular canopy. In 2018, Varun became the Head and Coordinator of Summit at Shaastra, IIT Madras, leading and coordinating a team for an event.

Starting in 2019, Varun worked as a Hardware Engineering R&D Intern at Cepheid, where they improved the detection of faulty units with Signal Processing Algorithms. Varun then joined Siemens Healthineers as an R&D Intern, where they built new tools and systems for a research lab using user-centric designs and principles.

In 2020, Varun worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Currently, they are employed at DIMAAG-AI as a Robotics Engineer and has recently taken on the role of Lead Autonomous Vehicles Engineer.

Varun Sairam has a strong education background in engineering and robotics. Varun obtained a Master's degree in M. Tech in Robotics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2016 to 2021. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in B. Tech in Engineering Design from the same institution. Prior to that, Varun completed their high school education at Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Chennai, India, from 2014 to 2016. Varun began their education at Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram in Chennai, India, in 2002 and completed their high school education there in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Varun has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Varun completed the courses "Introduction to Self-Driving Cars," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "State Estimation and Localization for Self-Driving Cars," and "Data Visualization" through Coursera. These certifications were obtained in 2020, with the most recent one obtained in July and the others obtained in August. The institution where Varun obtained these certifications is Coursera.
