Judith Germano

Judith Germano is the Founder and Lead Counsel at GermanoLaw LLC, where expertise is provided in cybersecurity, privacy, white-collar crime, and regulatory compliance matters since September 2013. Simultaneously, Judith serves as a Distinguished Fellow and Professor at the NYU Center for Cybersecurity, leading initiatives to tackle key cybersecurity challenges. Additionally, Judith teaches courses on risk management at NYU Stern School of Business and holds advisory roles with Truepic and the Advanced Cyber Security Center. Previous experience includes various prosecutorial positions within the United States Attorneys' Offices, where significant national and international economic crimes were directed, as well as litigation associate roles at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Judith's academic background includes a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law, where graduation was achieved cum laude.
