Paul Mordt has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple decades. Paul began their career in 1998 at Long Island Jewish Medical Center as an IBM MVS/OS Mainframe Operator, where they worked until 2008. In 1993, they joined Hofstra University as a Senior Technician and remained there until 2020. At Hofstra, they gained experience in information systems and also pursued a graduate degree in MFA Documentary Studies and Production. In 2020, Paul worked as an Information Technology Technician at an unspecified company until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Computer Operations Specialist II at Dime Community Bank, starting in November 2021.

Paul Mordt holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Stony Brook University. Paul further pursued their education at Hofstra University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies.
