Frans Taueatsoala

Frans Taueatsoala has over 19 years of experience in the IT industry. Frans started their career at Netsurit as a Helpdesk Engineer and later moved up to the roles of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Client Service Engineer. Frans then joined IBM South Africa as an Advisory IT Specialist, where they provided remote support for Windows and Intel Servers.

Frans then worked at Attix5 as a Technical Account Manager, managing main channel resellers, providing technical support, and designing backup solutions for customers. Frans also worked as a Senior Technical Support/Presales Technical Engineer, overseeing solution installation projects and training clients on backup software.

After that, Frans joined StorVault as an Evault Presales Solutions Architect and BU Manager, where they managed the division's operations, client relationships, and key accounts.

Frans then joined Dell-EMC Converged Platforms Systems Division as a Senior Associate vArchitect, providing technical expertise in server, storage, and converged infrastructure solutions.

Frans later joined Dell EMC as a vArchitect, focusing on providing technical expertise and pre-sales support for Dell EMC's Converged Infrastructure and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure platforms.

Frans then worked at Huawei as a Snr Product Manager, specializing in Huawei Data Center Solutions.

Currently, they are with Dimension Data, where they have held various roles, including Senior Solutions Architect, Product Manager for Private Cloud and On-Premises Data Center, and their current role as Head of Data Center Practice. In this role, they lead the Data Center team and works with sales, presales, and technical services teams to transform clients' data center infrastructure using infrastructure modernization and automation offerings.
