Keith Giles

Keith Giles is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various leadership roles across both the corporate and academic sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at New Light Technologies since July 2024, Keith previously held the position of Data Scientist at RxBenefits, Inc. from October 2019 to July 2024, where responsibilities included directing digital transformation and promoting a data-driven culture through the use of multiple business intelligence tools. Prior experience also includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Altec, focusing on developing statistical models for cost estimation in manufacturing, and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where Keith managed a biomedical research laboratory and published significant research. Keith holds a Ph.D. in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Biology from the University at Buffalo.
