Sarel Theron

Sarel Theron is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Senior Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Manager for Cloud at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa since December 2019, Sarel has previously held significant roles at Internet Solutions from September 2004 to December 2019, including Cloud Engineering ITaaS Manager, Cloud Storage Principle Team Lead, and Senior Cloud Engineer. Notable expertise includes engineering and managing virtualization, storage, and backup platforms, with hands-on experience with EMC, Dell, and NetApp storage systems. Additionally, Sarel began a career as a Systems Engineer at VideoLab in Johannesburg from 2000 to 2002. Sarel holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa, completed between 1990 and 1993.
