Adam Bowers

Adam Bowers has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Adam began their career as an Electronics Technician/R&D Intern at Meyer Sound in 1999. Adam then worked at SPG Solar as a Project Design Engineer & Permit Specialist from 2003 to 2010. At DRI Energy Corporation, they served as a Lead Senior Design Engineer (Photovoltaic Systems) from 2010 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, Adam worked at Silverado Power as a Senior Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the development of over 3,000MW of preliminary design and engineering for Utility-Scale/Wholesale Power Market Photovoltaic projects. Adam also coordinated with Independent Engineering firms for project assessments and successfully sold over 400MW of contracted assets.

Adam then joined sPower (Sustainable Power Group) in 2014 as the Director of Engineering. Adam provided engineering management and project finance support for the portfolio of projects before the AES Clean Energy merger. Adam was responsible for Construction and Project Finance milestones and acted as the commercial relationship manager for Independent Engineering firms and Financial Partner's technical representatives.

In 2021, Adam transitioned to The AES Corporation (formerly sPower) as the Owner's Engineering Manager. Here, they integrated with engineering groups under the AES Clean Energy merger while continuing their efforts in Project Execution and Project Finance for the legacy sPower portfolio. Adam led the Owner's Engineering group, focusing on project and financial schedule milestones, due diligence efforts, and managing relationships with independent engineering firms and financial partners' representatives.

Adam's most recent role is as the VP of Engineering at Dimension Renewable Energy, starting in 2022.

Adam Bowers pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems from San Francisco State University from 1999 to 2003.
