Gary Wilson Jr.

Gary Wilson Jr.'s work experience includes serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Dimensional Fund Advisors from August 2013 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate in Software Development at the same company from November 2011 to August 2013. Before joining Dimensional Fund Advisors, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at The University of Texas at Austin from October 2009 to November 2011. Gary also worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at the same university from November 2007 to October 2009 and as a Computer Systems Development Specialist from July 2004 to November 2007. Additionally, Gary served as a Core Developer at Django from July 2007 to March 2010, and as a Software Developer at Open Enterprise Systems in 2005.

Gary Wilson Jr. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2003. Gary then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) degree in Software Engineering at the same institution, which they completed in 2013. Throughout their education, they also attended additional training programs, including PyCon for Python and DjangoCon for Django. In 2013, Gary earned a certification in ITIL Foundation from PEOPLECERT Group.
