Joel Kim

Joel Kim is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Dimensional Fund Advisors in Asia. Prior to this, they were a Managing Director at BlackRock from November 2011 to August 2016, where they were Head of Fixed Income Asia Pacific. Before BlackRock, Mr. Kim was at NN Investment Partners from January 1998 to November 2011 as Head of Asian Debt - Asia ex-Japan. Mr Kim started their career at ING Barings in August 1997 as an Analyst on the Euro Coordination team before leaving in December 1997.

Joel Kim's educational career includes obtaining a MA in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a GSIS Business Administration (non-degree) from Yonsei University.
