Dea Bultman

Dea Bultman currently serves as the Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at University of Maryland Capital Region Health, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Bultman was the Associate Program Director at Howard University Family Medicine Residency Program from October 2021 to September 2023, and earlier held the role of Director of Maternal, Child & Reproductive Health within the Department of Community & Family Medicine at Howard University from August 2019 to September 2023. As an Assistant Professor at Howard University College of Medicine from October 2018 to September 2023, Bultman contributed as a junior faculty member. Bultman's medical training includes a residency at University of Maryland School of Medicine from June 2015 to June 2018, complemented by leadership as the National Secretary for the Student National Medical Association, Inc. from May 2013 to June 2018. Bultman holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MD from University of Maryland School of Medicine, along with a BS in Chemistry and Spanish from Hampton University.
