Søren Tygesen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Søren started their career in 1989 as a Kører signalmand at Forsvaret, Kongens Artilleriregiment, Sjælsmark Kaserne. Søren then transitioned into the geology field and worked as a Geologist/Surveyor at A/S EM. Z. Svitzer, Svitzer Surveys from 1999 to 2003, followed by Fugro Denmark AS from 2003 to 2004. Søren then worked as a Geologist/Project Manager at Ringkjøbing Amt, Teknik og Miljø, Grundvandsgruppen from 2004 to 2007. Søren then joined Miljøministeriet, Naturstyrelsen Vestjylland as a Geologist/Project Manager from 2007 to 2011. After that, they worked at Esbjerg Forsyning A/S as a Geologist and Project Manager from 2011 to present. Most recently, Søren worked at DIN Forsyning A/S as a Geologist and Project Manager starting from 2015.
Søren Tygesen's education history begins in 1977 when they attended Pårup Skole in Odense, where they completed their primary education. Søren then went on to TietgenSkolen in 1986 to study Handel & Kontor for a year. In addition to their formal education, Søren Tygesen obtained several certifications. In 1991, they received a Jagttegn certification from Naturstyrelsen. Later, in 2004, they obtained a Duelighedsbevis certification from Søfartsstyrelsen. Lastly, in 2009, they received an Øldommer certification from Foreningen af Danske Øldommere.
