Torben Jarl Jensen has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Torben Jarl worked as a Project Management Coordinator at DIN Forsyning from October 2019, and prior to that, they held the role of Opgavekoordinator at Din Forsyning A/S from May 2017 to October 2019. In these positions, they were involved in managing various tasks and coordinating operations related to water supply, wastewater management, and district heating production and distribution.
Before their time at DIN Forsyning, Torben worked as an Energi og projektleder at Claus Sørensen A/S from August 2015 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for energy and project management in the company's refrigeration and freezing facilities. The experience gained during this period helped him develop expertise in managing large technical installations.
Prior to that, Torben pursued an AP degree in Technology Management at EASV from February 2014 to February 2016. During their parental leave from December 2012 to January 2014, Torben dedicated himself to taking care of their son, who was undergoing treatment for a cancerous tumor. This challenging experience involved travel to Houston, Texas for treatment.
Before their parental leave, they worked as a Workshop Manager at VP Villy Poulsen from May 2012 to December 2012. And prior to that, they co-owned Outrup Golfbane from April 2005 to May 2012, where they held various responsibilities related to the management of the golf course.
Their first significant professional role was as a Workshop Manager at Varde Maskinstation amba from February 1999 to May 2006. In this position, they gained a broad technical knowledge and gained insights into management and economics while working in both the blacksmith shop and construction and agricultural work.
Torben Jarl Jensen has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Teknisk skole Skjern/Tønder and completed a degree in Bygnings- og landbrugssmed. Afterward, between 2012 and 2013, they studied at Herning VUC, focusing on mathematics without earning a degree. In 2014 and 2015, Torben attended Esbjerg Erhvervs Akademi Sydvest, where they pursued a degree in Driftsteknolog offshore, specializing in Vind og olie.
