Huw Avelena is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience across various sectors, including logistics and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at &Dine since September 2024, Huw previously held the position of Senior Operations Manager at Zoomo, where significant achievements included launching a successful cargo bike operation and building logistics teams from the ground up. Prior experience in the British Army as Head of Delivery involved managing a supply chain logistics team and achieving high deployment quotas. Huw co-founded Active Root Limited and has held roles in sports science at SoccerPDP and the University of Oxford, supporting research in physiology. Huw's educational background includes an MBA Essentials from LSE, a BS in Physiology from the University of Edinburgh, an MS in Food Science and Nutrition from Heriot-Watt University, and ongoing studies in Leadership and Strategic Studies at Henley Business School.
