Tyler Dawson

Tyler Dawson is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in various roles across the food and hospitality industry. Currently serving as Head Chef at The Punchbowl since November 2023, Tyler previously held positions such as Chef at Dineindulge, Private Chef on the Sailing Vessel Segundo Viento, and Head Chef at Flourish Recruitment, where relief chef duties were performed in multiple establishments. Tyler's background includes significant leadership as Head Chef at Ponsbourne Park Hotel, where a kitchen was established post-renovation, and as Executive Chef at Quitos Inn & Gazebo, implementing HACCP processes. Additionally, Tyler has experience in luxury private chef roles aboard yachts, as well as owning and operating a small bakery business specializing in artisan products. Educational background includes studies at the University of Cape Town and completion of Matric at Milnerton High School.
