Craig Banks

Craig Banks has a strong background in the mining industry, with experience in various roles and companies. Craig most recently worked at DINGO as the Executive Vice President - Americas, where they focused on condition-based maintenance solutions for heavy industries. Prior to that, they were the Vice President Underground at Hexagon Mining, overseeing the vision, product management, customer success, and commercial aspects of safety, operations, planning, measuring, and automating the underground mining industry. Before joining Hexagon Mining, Craig was the Vice President of Business Development at Rithmik Solutions, where they contributed to building an advanced and reliable AI-based asset health platform for mining equipment. Craig also served as the Vice President, Canada and USA at Newtrax, a leading provider of safety and productivity solutions to the global underground hard rock mining industry. Earlier in their career, Craig held positions such as Vice President of Business Development at MineSense Technologies Ltd., Territory Manager, East Asia at Dassault Systemes, and Business Analyst at Gemcom Software International. Craig started their career as a Grade Control Geologist at Northgate Minerals Corporation, where they gained experience in blast hole sampling, lab data analysis, geological mapping, grade control, and mine reserve modeling. Throughout their career, Craig has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, team management, and implementing software solutions to meet client requirements in the mining industry.

Craig Banks has a diverse education history. Craig pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Queensland between 2013 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Earth Sciences (Geotechnical) from the University of Victoria from 2002 to 2004. Craig also obtained a Minor in Mechanical Systems Engineering from the same university between 1997 and 2001.
