The Diocese of Brownsville is the presence of the Catholic Church within the Rio Grande Valley. It covers Cameron, Willacy, Hidalgo and Starr Counties in the southernmost tip of Texas. The Most Reverend Daniel E Flores is currently the bishop of the diocese.
