Catherine Hewitt

Catherine Hewitt is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Director of Education at The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust since April 2020. Prior to this role, Catherine held the position of Executive Headteacher/Headteacher at STEP Academy Trust from September 2019 to April 2020. Catherine's extensive experience in educational leadership includes various roles at Angel Oak Academy, including Headteacher and Deputy Head Teacher, and previous positions as Assistant Head at Gloucester Primary School and a teacher at multiple institutions, including Immanuel St Andrew PS Streatham and Christ Church Primary School. Catherine holds a PGCE in Primary Education from The University of St. Mark and St. John and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French from the University of Strathclyde.
