Diocese of Grand Rapids
Tuyet Tran has over three decades of experience in various technical and administrative roles. Currently serving at the Diocese of Grand Rapids since July 1994, Tuyet Tran is responsible for website maintenance and updates, as well as support for the Mitel Phone System, networking, Exchange server, and workstation maintenance. Previously, Tuyet Tran worked as a Bookkeeper/Accountant for Holy Name of Jesus/Vietnamese Apostolate from March 1992 to June 1994, handling bookkeeping, parishioner records, and office tasks. Earlier experience as a Computer Lab Tech at Western Michigan University included clerical duties at the front desk. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University, an Associate's degree from Grand Rapids Community College, and foundational studies in Computer Science and Mathematics from Central High School and Le Thi Hong Gam in Vietnam, respectively.
Diocese of Grand Rapids
The Diocese of Grand Rapids was established May 19, 1882 and originally consisted of much of the northern and western parts of the Lower Peninsula. Since 1971 the diocese comprises 11 counties of Western Michigan: Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, and Ottawa. The Diocese of Grand Rapids currently serves over 175,000 Catholics, 80 parishes, and 31 schools located within its 11-counties.
