Deacon Joe Gassman

Deacon Joe Gassman currently serves as the Secretary for Leadership & Parish Life and the Director of the Permanent Diaconate with the Diocese of Orlando, roles focused on guiding and supporting church ministries while inspiring adherence to Church teachings. Additionally, Deacon Joe serves as a Permanent Deacon at Annunciation Catholic Church, performing duties in the areas of charity, word, and liturgy. Previous positions include Operations Director at Daily Bread, Inc., Permanent Deacon at various parishes, President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity - Brevard County, and Equipment Operator Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Educational background includes a diploma in Industrial Arts from Gowanda Jr/Sr High School and further studies at Brevard Community College.
