Alexis Chavers

Alexis Chavers is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in education, child welfare, and the fashion industry. As the owner of ListeningWithLex since October 2019, Alexis has displayed entrepreneurial skills while previously working as a fashion stylist at Lane Bryant and a music teacher at Hands In Motion Music Production and Ad Media. In the realm of child welfare, Alexis served as a certified child welfare case manager at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health and as a child protective investigator with the Florida Department of Children and Families. Furthermore, Alexis has a solid educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology and Communication Science and Disorders from the University of South Florida, as well as an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Hillsborough Community College. Additional experience includes roles as a behavioral health technician and a music specialist, demonstrating a commitment to both educational and mental health fields.
