Peter Wheeler

Peter Wheeler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Peter currently holds the position of Development Manager at Diode, where they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Lead Full Stack Developer at Diode from July 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Diode, Peter was associated with Admit One (Collaborative Software Limited) from November 2018 to June 2021, serving as the Lead Web Developer for the majority of this period. Peter also briefly worked as a Web Developer at Admit One from May 2018 to October 2018. Before their time at Admit One, Peter worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Literatim Web Design from November 2016 to May 2018. Starting their career, they gained work experience at the University of Southampton, first as an Education Designer on the #UoSFLPortus MOOC from September 2013 to February 2017, and then as a Web Developer from September 2012 to November 2016. Prior to that, Peter served as a Multimedia Developer at The Portus Project from September 2009 to September 2014, where they were involved in researching the use of new technologies in public education. Overall, Peter has demonstrated expertise and growth in web development, education design, and multimedia development throughout their career.

Peter Wheeler completed their education with three notable achievements. From 2001 to 2008, they attended Mercy Mounthawk in Tralee, Ireland, where they obtained an Irish Leaving Certificate. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Archaeology from the University of Southampton, attending the institution from 2008 to 2011. Lastly, they furthered their studies at the University of Southampton, from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Archaeological Computing - Virtual Pasts.
