Rocco Affinito

Rocco Affinito is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital transformation, project management, and engineering, currently serving as the Referente Area Piattaforme Digitali at the Dipartimento per la Trasformazione Digitale. Rocco oversees significant projects funded by the Next Generation EU and national funds, including the National Data Platform with a budget exceeding €500 million. Previous roles include Technical Program Manager for Data & Interoperability, Delivery Unit Manager for Digital Engineering at Akka Technologies, and Senior Technical Project Manager at EUSPA, where Rocco managed the TSP project within the Galileo Space Program. Rocco holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and a diploma in Basso Tuba from Conservatorio di Musica "Cimarosa."
