Chamidu Buddhika

Chamidu Buddhika is an accomplished innovation and R&D professional with over 18 years of local and international experience in the rubber and polymer industry. Currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Dipped Products PLC since October 2022, Chamidu previously held significant roles at Ansell, including R&D/Product Stewardship Sustainability and Head of R&D at Ansell Vietnam, focusing on product innovation and process development for coated gloves. Prior experience includes a senior chemist position at Ansell Lanka, where Chamidu specialized in new product development for various glove types, and technical and engineering roles at Loadstar and Midas Sri Lanka. Educational qualifications include a National Diploma in Technology in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Moratuwa and an MBA from MGU, India. Chamidu is also a certified sustainability expert under ISO/IEC 17024:2012.
