Principal Engineer and Algorithm System Architect at Dirac

Søren Skovgaard Christensen has a range of work experience in algorithm design and engineering roles. Søren Skovgaard currently works at Dirac Research as a Principal Engineer and Algorithm System Architect. Prior to that, they worked at Fingerprint Cards as a Specialist and Team Leader. Søren Skovgaard has also held positions at Broadcom as a Principal Scientist, at Renesas Mobile Corporation as an Algorithm Specialist, and at Nokia Denmark as an Algorithm Specialist and Senior Design Engineer. Søren Skovgaard Christensen has a strong background in modem algorithm design, including working on 3GPP LTE and LTE-Advanced systems. Søren Skovgaard has also conducted research and completed a PhD at Aalborg University, and was a visiting PhD student at Stanford University.

Søren Skovgaard Christensen began their education in 1997 at Aalborg University, where they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and specialized in Signal Processing. Søren Skovgaard successfully completed this degree in 2002. Afterward, they continued their academic journey at the same institution, and from 2004 to 2007, they obtained their PhD in Wireless Communications.
