Paul Brandeland

Paul Brandeland has over 10 years of experience in the field of electronic data interchange (EDI). Paul started their career as a Senior EDI Analyst at Leapfrog Enterprises, where they managed all aspects of EDI activities and acted as a liaison between the company and external customer EDI departments.

After that, Brandeland worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where they established the company's entire EDI program. Paul was solely responsible for determining the business requirements, writing the RFQ for EDI translation and gateway software, and evaluating and making the final recommendation.

Brandeland then joined Hitachi Global Storage Technologies as a SAP EDI Project Manager, providing project management expertise for the implementation of HGST's SAP EDI system. Paul helped implement all 10 trading partners and provided additional retail expertise in EDI operational excellence, label generation, and ASN compliance.

Later on, Brandeland worked as a Senior B2B Business Analyst at Amazon.com, managing the implementation strategies for over 3000 North American vendors onto the company's EDI platform. Paul also developed and maintained Contivo maps owned by Procurement Services.

Brandeland then joined Diamond Foods, Inc. as a Senior EDI Analyst, assisting in the migration of existing EDI trading partners onto a new EDI platform. Paul also migrated Pringle's worldwide EDI trading partners onto Diamond Foods' new EDI platform by creating new EDI maps.

Following this, Brandeland worked as a Senior Consultant at SolutionsATI Consulting / Cisco Systems, where they planned and managed migration projects for global and regional partners. Paul ensured project timelines were met for the migration of B2B, web services, portal, and quoting tools.

After that, Brandeland joined Diamond Foods, Inc. again, this time as a Senior B2B Consultant. Paul designed and managed the company's B2B migration from legacy GENTRAN:Server iSeries EDI Server to the OpenText BizManager 3.3 B2B platform. Paul served as the primary technical interface between the B2B team and the Project Unity ERP Upgrade teams.

Most recently, Brandeland worked at OpenText / EDI Staffing as a Senior Technical Consultant. Paul was responsible for the implementation and management of EDI projects, providing technical expertise and support to clients.

Paul Brandeland completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico, during the period of 1990-1995.
