Alastair Smith

Alastair Smith is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Head of Procurement Operations at Direct Line Group since December 2014. Previously, Alastair held the position of Senior Procurement Manager in Legal Services at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from March 2012 to December 2014. Prior to this, Alastair spent over a decade at Unilever in various procurement roles, culminating as Head of Indirects Procurement for the UK & Ireland, overseeing a substantial budget and a team of 12. Alastair's earlier career includes positions at BAE Systems and BT. Alastair holds a BSc Hons Marketing degree from Lancaster University.
