Simon Speck

Simon Speck currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Direct Line Group, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this, Simon had an extensive career at Virgin Atlantic, where roles included Head of Strategy, Data and Architecture, and Chief Architect, among others, culminating in leadership of the enterprise architecture team. Simon's experience encompasses significant contributions to IT strategy and cloud service transitions, overseeing major projects in enterprise architecture and integration. Earlier career highlights include roles as an Analyst/Programmer at KPL LTD and contributions to various C++ software development projects. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Staffordshire University.
