Stephen Wheatley has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Product Owner for the Commercial Transformation Programme at Direct Line Group since April 2009. Previous roles at Direct Line Group include Head of Home Insurance Manufacturing, Head of Nationwide Partnership, Business Manager for Nationwide Home Insurance, Client Relationship Manager for Sainsbury's Home Insurance, and interim Business Manager for Sainsbury's Home Insurance. Prior to this, Stephen was a Product Development Analyst at Provident Insurance from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Economics from Leeds Beckett University and A Level and GCSE achievements from De Aston School and King George V School, respectively.
