Zdeněk Kalina

Zdeněk Kalina is an accomplished software development leader with extensive experience spanning over 15 years in the field. Currently serving as the Head of Software Development at Direct Fidoo a.s. since October 2017, Zdeněk oversees the development team while actively engaging in coding with Spring and Angular. Additionally, Zdeněk manages the Frontend Development Team at Direct pojišťovna, a.s., focusing on team scaling and knowledge sharing. Zdeněk's expertise also includes roles as a Lead Developer, Full Stack Developer, and External Lecturer, where Zdeněk has contributed to various projects involving diverse technologies such as Angular, Java, Go, and PHP. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and Management, both obtained from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
