Jason Sole has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales engineering, production, and user experience design.
Jason worked at DirectEmployers Association from 2009 to 2019, starting as an Interaction Designer and eventually becoming the Director of Production. In this role, they led a team responsible for organizing and prioritizing development tasks, running day-to-day software development, and establishing the roadmap for all software production. Prior to that, they served as a Senior User Experience Designer, focusing on interaction and usability design for different products.
Additionally, Jason has been actively involved in several non-profit organizations. Jason has been a member of the Board of Directors at the HR Open Standards Consortium since 2015, serving as secretary from 2017 to 2019 and as the President in 2020. Jason is also a member of the Board of Directors at the HR Open Standards Foundation and the CLASSICAL STUDIES OF CENTRAL INDIANA INC.
Before their roles at DirectEmployers and the non-profit organizations, Jason worked as an Owner at Sole IxD, specializing in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and data-driven sites. Jason also gained experience as a User Interface Designer at ChaCha and Sigma Micro.
Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Webmaster at the Indiana Campus Sexual Assault Prevention Project and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Residence Hall Counselor at Purdue University.

Jason Sole has a strong education history. Jason obtained a High School Diploma from Westfield Washington Public Schools in the field of National Honor Society in the year 1997. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Purdue University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Graphics Technology. Jason continued at Purdue University and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Graphics Technology in 2001. Jason Sole further advanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Technology, which they obtained from Purdue University in 2003.
Aside from their formal education, Jason Sole has also obtained several certifications. Jason became a Board Member of the HR Open Standards Consortium in various years, including 2016, 2017 (twice), and 2018. Jason achieved these certifications by fulfilling the requirements and meeting the standards set by the HR Open Standards Consortium.
