Sofiene Lourimi

Sofiene LOURIMI is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in innovation and economic development. Currently serving as Directeur de projets for Direction Générale des Entreprises since February 2024, Sofiene previously held the position of Associate Professor at Université Paris-Sud 11 since September 2009, focusing on topics such as the role of institutions in economic development and skills transfer. Other notable positions include Head of the "France 2030" team at La French Tech and Economist in the Innovation Policies Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. With a PhD in Economics specializing in industry and innovation from Université Paris-Saclay, Sofiene has contributed to various economic strategy initiatives and public policy evaluations throughout a career that began in economic analysis at ST Microelectronics.
