Barbaree Duke possesses extensive expertise in curriculum development and geospatial education, currently serving as a Curriculum Specialist and Project Manager at GISetc since January 2009, focusing on integrating geospatial technologies in K-12 classrooms. Additionally, Barbaree holds the position of Editor-in-Chief and Executive Webinar Producer at Directions Magazine since July 2013, aimed at inspiring the geospatial community. As an Independent Educational Consultant since 2002, Barbaree has contributed to curriculum writing and conducted numerous workshops and presentations at national and international conferences. Prior roles include Webinar Coordinator for the National Council for Geographic Education and various teaching positions, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational advancement and student progress. Barbaree earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Baylor University in 1989.
