Einar Einarsson

Einar Einarsson has held a variety of programming roles since 1998. Einar began their career as a Programmer at S.R. Studios in 1998, followed by a role as a SagaNet Programmer at the National Library of Iceland in 1998. Einar then moved to a role as a Linux Programmer at deCode Genetics in 2001, and then a Programmer at TS in the same year. Einar then moved to a role as a Programmer at SOCO in 2000, and then a Senior Unix Developer at FRISK Software intl. in 2003. In 2007, they moved to a role as a Senior Programmer at CCP Games, followed by a role as CTO at Jivaro ehf. in 2013. Most recently, they have held a role as a Senior Software Engineer at CCP since 2016, and a Technical Director at Directive Games since 2020.

Einar Einarsson attended Háskóli Íslands from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Computer Science before dropping out. Einar then attended Egilsstaðaskóli, but did not pursue any degree or field of study. Einar does not have any additional certifications.
