David Phillips

David Phillips is the VP of Legal & Corporate Development at Directly. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Aiwa from November 2010 to October 2013. David also co-founded the company with Joe Born. Before Aiwa, Phillips was the Chief Executive Officer of Six Apart from May 2006 to November 2010. David also founded and built the largest US digital advertising and media network in the sustainability and wellness verticals. The network earned the number one ranking in comScore's "Green Lifestyle" category. In 09-10, they negotiated and managed the sale of the company to Six Apart (now SAY Media). From May 2004 to June 2006, they served as General Counsel & EVP, Corporate Strategy at IGN Entertainment. From October 2012 to January 2014, they were the General Counsel & EVP Corporate Development at Sidecar Technologies. Currently, they are the Managing Member of Lark Partners LLC (Lark Ventures).

Their manager is Mike De La Cruz, CEO. They work with Shaun Donnelly - General Manager, Jean Tessier - Co-Founder & Lead Architect, and Jeff Patterson - Co-founder, VP Data & Insights.
