Askild Aaberg Hofsøy Olsen

Askild Aaberg Hofsøy Olsen is an experienced IT project leader currently serving at Direktoratet for mineralforvaltning med Bergmesteren for Svalbard since November 2018. Prior to this role, Askild was a Consultant at Bouvet ASA from September 2016 to October 2018, and held the position of Staff Engineer at Artsdatabanken, contributing to the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre from August 2008 to August 2016. Earlier experience includes ownership of Xangeli AS, focusing on the development of rule-based, model-driven web applications, and management at Xtractor AS, where Askild contributed to system integration frameworks. Additionally, Askild has served as a Senior Consultant at Avenir and Ementor, specializing in data warehouse architecture and business intelligence. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in IT from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed between 1993 and 1997.
